Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival – Kibale Forest National Park

Arrive in Entebbe and meet your driver-guide for the scenic drive to Kibale Forest via Mityana and Fort Portal. Check in at your lodge and relax. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary — known for the Great Blue Turaco, rich birdlife, and several primate species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Chimpanzee Tracking – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, join the rangers for your chimpanzee-tracking experience in Kibale Forest. Spend an hour with a habituated chimpanzee group before returning to the lodge for lunch. Drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, home to hippos, elephants, buffalo, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

 Lion Tracking – Ishasha

 

 Lion Tracking & Transfer to Ishasha
Begin the day with a lion-tracking game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Continue toward the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon and dinner and overnight at your lodge in Ishasha.

Day 4

 Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, drive through Kihihi toward Bwindi, home of Uganda’s mountain gorillas. Check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa community for a cultural experience highlighting traditional forest skills and storytelling. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5

Gorilla Trekking

After an early briefing, begin your trek through the rainforest to locate your assigned gorilla family. Spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat before returning to the lodge for rest,  dinner and overnight.

Day 6

 Entebbe – Departure

 

After breakfast, check out and enjoy a scenic drive back to Entebbe, reflecting on the incredible wildlife encounters and cultural experiences of your Ugandan journey. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
