Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival – Moremi Game Reserve 

On arrival at Maun Airport, we make our way to the domestic check-in counter for our connecting flight to the Moremi Game Reserve, the oldest protected section of the Okavango Delta in Botswana. Moremi Game Reserve’s incredible wetlands support a vast amount of wildlife and are home to endangered species such as the lion, cheetah, wild dog, and the black and white rhinoceros. Enjoy an afternoon game drive through the different ecosystems of the reserve. Overnight at Lodge Moremi Game Reserve (L, D)

Day 2

Moremi Game Reserve 

Early morning tea and game drive. On safari, guides and trackers share their wealth of knowledge about the fauna and flora they see. The Moremi is also home to over 1000 varieties of plants and more than 500 bird species, making the Reserve one of the richest ecosystems in Africa. The remainder of the day will be spent at leisure with lunch at the lodge. Late afternoon, we will explore the water channels of the Xakanaxa Lagoon by boat. The combination of the day’s activities will give us an opportunity to enjoy the variety of wildlife and the incredible landscapes of the Okavango Delta.

Day 3

Savute 

Breakfast at the lodge. We depart on a scheduled flight to the Savute Region of Botswana, renowned for its predator encounters and great game viewing. During the rainy months of November and December and again between February and April, Savute hosts an annual Zebra migration, attributed to the great nourishment this season has to offer. As predators are drawn to follow, Savute frequently offers an exciting mix of game viewing and occurrences. Lunch at the lodge. We enjoy an afternoon game drive in open 4×4 vehicles. Savute

Early morning tea and game drive. We explore the Savute Marsh, a vast grassland expanse in Chobe National Park’s western region. This will allow us to observe the Savute Channel’s historic existence. With large herds of elephants and predators such as the lion, hyena, and wild dog, Savute offers incredible wildlife sightings. The remainder of the day will be spent at leisure with lunch at the lodge. The afternoon can be enjoyed by participating in a game drive or visiting the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills. Overnight at a lodge in the Savute area (B, L, D)

Day 5

Chobe National Park

Breakfast at the lodge. We depart on a scheduled flight to the Kasane Airport, followed by a road transfer to our lodge. Chobe National Park is Botswana’s first national park and a true wildlife paradise. Lunch at the lodge. We enjoy a sunset cruise and riverside game viewing on Botswana’s renowned Chobe River. Overnight at a lodge in the Chobe National Park area(B, L, D)

Day 6

Chobe National Park

Morning game drive in Chobe National Park, followed by breakfast at the lodge. The game drives are conducted by expert guides in open-sided 4×4 vehicles to ensure maximum visibility of Chobe National Park’s spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife. The remainder of the day will be spent at leisure with lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive or sunset cruise in Chobe National Park. Overnight at a lodge in the Chobe National Park area (B, L, D)

Day 7

Victoria Falls

Breakfast at the lodge. We depart on a scheduled flight to the Victoria Falls Airport and will then be driven to our lodge. Lunch at the lodge/hotel. Afternoon guided sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River. Enjoy finger snacks and beverages while searching for various wildlife, including elephants, hippo, and crocodiles, as well as enjoying the many different bird species. Overnight Victoria Falls area (B, L, D)

Day 8

Victoria Falls

Breakfast at the lodge. Morning Tour of Victoria Falls. The Victoria Falls, while forming a natural border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, is a breathtaking spectacle of awe-inspiring splendor. It was described by the Kololo tribe living in the area as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ – ‘The Smoke that Thunders’ for the immense spray and incredible noise caused by the rushing water. Lunch at the lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Zambezi National Park. The Zambezi National Park is home to a variety of large species, including elephants, lions, buffalo, and leopards. You can also see herds of smaller game, including sable antelope, eland, zebra, giraffe, kudu, waterbuck, and impala. Overnight Victoria Falls area (B, L, D)

Day 9

Mana Pools

Breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for our scheduled flight to Dandawa Airstrip, followed by a game drive transfer to our camp. Mana Pools, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, provides a wonderfully secluded and untamed safari encounter. The remainder of the day will be spent at leisure with lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive in open 4×4 vehicles. Overnight at a lodge in the Mana Pools area (B, L, D)

Mana Pools

Breakfast at the lodge. This morning, we explore the wonders of Mana Pools on a guided walking safari. Visitors can expect to see predators such as lions, leopards, hyenas, and wild dogs. With over 450 kinds of birds nesting or migrating through the park, Mana Pools offers incredible opportunities for birdwatchers. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive. Overnight at a lodge in the Mana Pools area (B, L, D)

Departure

Breakfast at the lodge. Game drive transfer to Dandawa Airstrip for our scheduled flight to Victoria Falls. We make our way to the international check-in counter for our connecting flight home. (B)
