Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival – Cape Town

Arrival Cape Town International Airport. Meet and Assist by your English-speaking guide. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. We depart for the University town of Stellenbosch for an exciting culinary experience featuring traditional South African Cooking paired with high-quality South African wine. Overnight in Cape Town

Day 2

Cape Town

Breakfast at the hotel. We depart on a guided full-day Cape Peninsula Tour on a chauffeured Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Enjoy a scenic drive as we make our way to Hout Bay for a high-speed eco-tour to Duiker Island (weather permitting). We drive via Chapman’s Peak (if the road is open) to Cape Point Nature Reserve and ride on the Flying Dutchman funicular to the steps of the lighthouse and look-out points above. We enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we visit the penguins at Boulders Beach. Boulders has become world famous for its thriving colony of African Penguins. We end our day with a sunset cruise on the Atlantic Ocean and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Cape Town

Day 3

Cape Town

 

Breakfast at the hotel. We depart to Table Mountain National Park, including a return cable car ride (weather permitting). This Natural World Heritage Site is a haven with unique and diverse flora and fauna, its beautiful mountains plunging into the crystal-clear waters of the Cape Peninsula. We embark on a mesmerizing gourmet adventure through two of Cape Town’s distinct and culturally significant areas, the Bo-Kaap & De Waterkant. We continue to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, South Africa’s oldest working harbor, and enjoy a helicopter flight over the picturesque Atlantic Seaboard. We have free time to explore the vibrant Waterfront with its markets, shops, entertainment, and restaurants. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 4

 Cape Town – Kruger National Park Area

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Cape Town International Airport for our flight to the Kruger National Park Area. Transfer from the airport to the lodge, with lunch served upon arrival. Afternoon teas and snacks before departing on a game drive in open 4×4 vehicles. Dinner and overnight in the Kruger National Park Area.

Day 5

Kruger National Park Area

 

Early morning wake-up for our transfer to the Hot Air Balloon base near Hoedspruit. Watch the African sun rise over the Kruger National Park and the Klein Drakensberg Mountains. We return to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time. Lunch is served at the lodge. Afternoon teas and snacks before departing on a game drive in open 4×4 vehicles. Dinner and overnight in the Kruger National Park Area

Day 6

Kruger National Park – Victoria Falls

Breakfast at the lodge. We depart for Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for our flight to Victoria Falls. Meet and assist an English-speaking guide and transfer to the lodge for check-in. We enjoy an afternoon guided sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River. Finger snacks and beverages are served while searching for various game and bird species. Traditional dance show and dinner at The Boma. Overnight in Victoria Falls (B, D)

Day 7

Victoria Falls

 

Breakfast at the lodge. We enjoy a morning scenic helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, offering spectacular photographic opportunities. After our scenic flight, we make our way to the National Park for a guided tour of Victoria Falls, followed by a tour of the Victoria Falls Bridge with the option to Bungy Jump (at an additional cost). After the tour, we continue to the Lookout Café, with stunning views over the Zambezi River flowing through the Batoka Gorge. Enjoy an adrenaline-filled Gorge Swing with lunch served at the Café. Free time for shopping and visiting the markets before departing to the jetty for our dinner Cruise on the Zambezi River. Overnight in Victoria Falls

Breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for our outbound flight home. (B)
