Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival – Cape Town

Arrival Cape Town International Airport. Meet and Assist by your English-speaking guide. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Welcome dinner at an authentic African Restaurant with interactive drumming. Overnight in Cape Town. (D)

Day 2

Cape Town

Breakfast at the hotel. We depart to Table Mountain National Park including a return cable car ride (weather permitted). This Natural World Heritage Site is a haven with unique and diverse flora and fauna its beautiful mountains plunging into the crystal-clear waters of the Cape Peninsula. We embark on a mesmerizing gourmet adventure through two of Cape Town’s distinct and culturally significant areas the Bo-Kaap & De Waterkant. A guided walk through these areas where we learn more about the history and experience the local cuisine. We continue to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, South Africa’s oldest working harbour and enjoy a helicopter flight over the picturesque Atlantic Seaboard. We have some free time to explore the vibrant Waterfront with its markets, shops, entertainment and restaurants. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Cape Town (B, L, D)

Day 3

CapeTown

 

Breakfast at the hotel. We depart on a guided full day Cape Peninsula Tour on a chauffeured Vintage Motorbike with Sidecar. Enjoy a scenic drive as we make our way to Hout Bay for a high speed eco tour to Duiker Island (weather permitting). We drive via Chapmans peak (if road is open) to Cape Point Nature Reserve and take a ride on the Flying Dutchman funicular to the steps of the lighthouse and look-out points above. We enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we visit the penguins at Boulders Beach. Boulders has become world famous for its thriving colony of African Penguins. We end our day with a sunset cruise on the Atlantic Ocean followed by dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Cape Town (B, L, D)

Day 4

Cape Town

Breakfast at the hotel. We depart for the Cape Winelands, a region renowned for its bountiful vineyards, high-quality South African wine and award-winning restaurants. Our first stop will include a wine tasting, paired with farm-grown delicacies, and a cellar tour at one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms, set at the foot of the Simonsberg Mountains in the Franschhoek wine valley. The afternoon we partake in a unique Wine Drive Safari. During this experience, we will sample award-winning wines in the very vineyards where they were grown, served with a crafted platter that includes a chocolate and wine pairing. Dinner in a local restaurant where we will experience traditional South African cooking. Overnight in Cape Town (B, L, D)(B, L, D)

Day 5

 Kruger National Park Area

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Cape Town International Airport for our flight to the Kruger National Park Area. Transfer from the Airport to the Lodge with lunch served on arrival. Afternoon teas and snacks before departing on a game drive in open 4×4 vehicles. Dinner and overnight in the Kruger National Park Area (B, L, D)

Kruger National Park Area

 

 Guided morning bush walk, or game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Spend the morning at leisure enjoying the lodge facilities and surrounding nature. Lunch is served at the lodge. Afternoon teas and snacks before departing on a game drive in open 4×4 vehicles. Dinner and overnight in the Kruger National Park Area (B, L, D)

Day 7

Johannesburg – Departure

Morning game drive or bush walk followed by breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to the Airport for our flight to Johannesburg. (B)
