Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival – Nairobi

On arrival at Nairobi JKIA airport, meet and assist by English speaking guide and transfer to your hotel. At leisure, overnight Nairobi.

Nairobi

Breakfast at your hotel, meet your English-speaking driver guide, and depart on a full-day tour starting with a visit to the Giraffe Center and then to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage; after a tour, enjoy lunch at the Carnivore restaurant. Later, visit the Masai market for shopping, In the late afternoon, return to the hotel. Dinner at leisure, overnight Nairobi (B,L)

Day 3

Nairobi – Masai Mara

Breakfast at the hotel, check out, meet your English-speaking driver guide, and depart for the Masai Mara Game reserve via a quick stop at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. Then, continue to Narok town for lunch. On arrival at your lodge, check-in and depart on an afternoon game drive. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Masai Mara Game Reserve (B,L,D)

Day 4

Masai Mara

After breakfast, proceed on a full-day safari in the reserve. Your guide will point out the different animals you are likely to see on safaris, like giraffes, wildebeest, elephants, lions, Thompson’s gazelle, eland, and plenty of birds. Stop at a nice spot to enjoy your picnic lunch before continuing your game drive. Return to your lodge late afternoon for dinner and overnight at Masai Mara Game Reserve (B,L,D)

Day 5

Masai Mara 

After breakfast, another full-day safari in Masai Mara, tracking different species of animals in the park and driving to the Mara River, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and elephants.

Optional balloon Safari – early morning transfer to the lodge to departure point – enjoy an aerial view of animals and the beautiful landscape. After the balloon flight, enjoy a delicious breakfast before continuing on safari. Late lunch at your lodge and then visit a Masai village for cultural interaction with the Masai people. Dinner and overnight Masai Mara Game Reserve (B,L,D)

Day 6

Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru, arrive at your lodge, and check-in, followed by lunch. Depart on an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is the seasonal home of thousands of greater and lesser flamingos and many other birds like pelicans and herons – a bird watchers’ paradise. Here, you can also find the olive baboon, the beautiful Rothchild’s giraffe, and the Big Five except elephants. Dinner and overnight Lake Nakuru (B,L,D)

Day 7

Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, check out. Depart the lodge and proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park has a sanctuary for the conservation of white rhinos and a lookout for Cape buffalo, eland, and other plains game. Drive to Lake Naivasha Park – Arrive at the lodge, check-in, and have lunch. After lunch, take a boat trip on the lake where you will be able to see many species of water birds like pelicans, grey herons, igrits, and storks. Dinner and overnight Lake Naivasha (B,L,D)

Day 8

Lake Naivasha – Nairobi

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi, drop off at Nairobi JKIA airport for final departure (B)

We can add more Kenya highlights like a visit to Amboseli National Park, famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro; Samburu National Reserve on the fringes of the hot and sparsely populated northern region where you will find animals like Somali ostrich and Beisa Oryx; or Kenya coast with white sand beaches.
