Day 1

Arrival – Cape Town

Arrival. Arrival in Cape Town, meet and assist and continue on a gourmet journey through the historic district of Cape Town. Discover the diverse culinary landscape of South Africa, shaped by agriculture and its surrounding countries.
A carefully chosen wine experience, a secret dessert treat, and flavorful beef stew and vegetable curry are just a few of the mouthwatering meals you will sample along the route. Suitable for teenagers, adults, and vegetarians, this tour offers a concise exploration of Cape Town’s delectable culinary offerings.

Day 2

Cape Peninsula

After breakfast, head out on a full-day tour of the Cape Peninsula. The tour will include stops at Hout Bay, Cape Point Nature Reserve, Simonstown, and Boulders to see the penguins, as well as lunch and fynbos foraging that includes wild food, snacks, drinks and a 3 course meal using group-foraged, harvested, and prepared items. Return to hotel in the late afternoon – evening at leisure, overnight Cape Town (B,L)

Day 3 

Winelands 

 

After breakfast, depart on a full-day Winelands tour, including leisure shopping time in Franschhoek, a 7-course wine pairing tasting lunch at Delaire Graff Lodge, and a further wine tasting at an estate in Stellenbosch after lunch. Late afternoon, return to the hotel. Evening at leisure, overnight Cape Town (B,L)

Hermanus

After breakfast, depart and go to Hermanus, where you’ll have a 6-course “Heritage of Creations” tasting lunch at Creation Wine Estate before checking into your accommodation in the late afternoon. Leisurely evening and overnight stay in Hermanus (B,L)

Day 5

Prince Albert

Today, after breakfast, check out, depart Hermanus, and travel along Route 62 to Prince Albert. Rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight Prince Albert (B)

Day 6

Prince Albert – Oudtshoorn

 

Enjoy breakfast, check out, and head to the Africa Relish cooking school in Prince Albert for a morning half-day cooking class where you will learn how to make delicious lamb dishes, oven-fresh brown bread and a variety of dessert pleasures. After lunch drive to Oudtshoorn. Visit the Cango Caves and Safari Ostrich Farm in the afternoon. Check in to accommodation in the late afternoon. Evening at leisure and overnight in Oudtshoorn. Knysna

After breakfast and check-out, head to Knysna for the Featherbed eco-experience tour, which includes lunch, a glass of sparkling wine, and oyster tasting – an unforgettable land and water experience. Check into the hotel after lunch, spend the evening relaxing, and spend the night in Knysna (B,L)

Johannesburg

 

Breakfast at hotel – check out and transfer to George airport for flight to Johannesburg. Check into the hotel in the Sandton area – sundowners at Alto234, followed by dinner at the award-winning Marble restaurant in Rosebank. Overnight Johannesburg. (B,D)

Skukuza – Sabi Sands

 

Breakfast at hotel – check out and transfer to Johannesburg OR Tambo airport for flight to Skukuza. Arrive at Skukuza airport and transfer to lodge in Sabi Sands. Lunch, afternoon game drive, and Boma dinner.
