Day 3

Livingstone Island Tour – Devil’s Pool – Helicopter Tour

Breakfast at your hotel, and pick up for Livingstone Island tour.

During your guided tour, you will get the opportunity to swim in one of the natural water pools considered among the most intriguing in the world. This pool is known as Devil’s Pool. Not your typical swim in an infinity pool; instead, you’ll find yourself on the very brink of Victoria Falls. Swimmers who are not afraid of heights will have the opportunity to gaze over the edge of the most extraordinary curtain of falling water and feel the ultimate rush. (this tour is seasonal and affected by rainfall – Devil’s Pool is accessible during the driest months of the year, typically between mid-August and mid-January when the Zambezi’s water levels are low enough for swimming.)

From its historical use as a sacrifice place to its current status as a World Heritage site, the island’s history will be covered in depth throughout your guided tour. After the tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel for lunch before taking a quick helicopter ride (12-13 minutes) over the falls.
Beautiful photo ops can be found on scenic helicopter rides over Victoria Falls. The helicopter rides can reach the Zambezi River’s breathtaking beauty in just 30 seconds because of the Maramba Aerodrome’s proximity to the river.
Rest of afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight Livingstone (B,D)

Day 4

Guided Walking Tour – Departure

Breakfast at your hotel. Learn about the history of Victoria Falls and the traditions and practices surrounding it on a private guided walking Tour. The Kololo people, who lived there in the 1800s, called it “Mosi-oa-Tunya,” which translates to “the Smoke that Thunders.” Today, it is known as “the greatest known curtain of falling water.” If you’re willing to face the immense spray, you can walk along a path at the edge of the forest to get a unique set of views of the Falls. There are several vantage points, including Knife Edge Bridge. The Falls Bridge and the Lookout Tree, which offers a sweeping view of the Main Falls, are two other viewing spots. The Falls region will deliver completely different experiences at different times of the year.
Check-out of hotel and transfer to Livingstone airport for flight back to Johannesburg (B)
